Code of Conduct
The codes of conduct was created by the young people during the first get together of the Kandersteg 2008 party on 14 October 2007.
Show good manners, no swearing, or backchat – have respect for others
No fighting or bullying
Ask before touching other peoples property
No messing around during mealtimes
Be helpful to each other and others - Take turns with chores & jobs
Do thIngs without being asked – If you are asked to do something DO IT! - Listen to instructions
Be trustworthy
Be responsible
Representing Scouting, Darlington & the UK – behave yourself
Keep things clean & tidy – think of others using things after you – don’t hang washing out of windows - think about hygiene
No shouting or running in the building
If you’re in a group for an activity keep together and don’t wander off – if you are going somewhere TELL SOMEONE
Be on time – get up when needed
Wear your necker at all times for identification
No flames – (wooden building) - No smoking
Keep away from the river and fast moving water
Respect the environment – NO LITTER
