Scouting is a world-wide movement with the aim of helping young people develop through activities which are fun, challenging and adventurous.
Scouting in Darlington is alive and kicking with Groups around the town, and at Middleton-St-George and Hurworth.
A Scout Group can consist of up to three sections: 6 and 7 year olds 8 to 10½ year olds 10½ to 14 year olds Then there are seperate from the Groups for 14 - 18th birthday There are also young people of Explorer Scout age range working with Groups through the People from 18 - 25 can become members of Adults too are very welcome to get involved, whether as a or as a member of
